Fernox Boiler Buddy

Fernox Boiler Buddy is a premium quality, in-line, high efficiency, magnetic filter that uses award winning, patented flux plates and a magnet to remove ferrous particles from system water. From technology that is used in Formula 1 motor racing, the Boiler Buddy has been designed to complement the Fernox cleaning range, ensuring the collection of magnetite, rust and magnetic particles which are present in central heating systems and prevent potential component damage by erosion from circulating debris or deposition.

Unlike conventional filters the  Fernox Boiler Buddy patented plate design not only traps magnetite to sub-micron levels, but it also ensures that the filter does not restrict flow, even when full.

The clear housing enables the build-up of debris to be observed and offers a unique opportunity to provide a window on the central heating system for condition monitoring.

When powerflushing systems, simply isolate the Boiler Buddy at the connection points, remove and powerflush across the in-situ connections.
